On 25th March 2026, a team from Atacama Consulting Foundation (ACF), had the privilege of attending the commissioning ceremony hosted by Grant Thornton (Uganda) at Namulonge C.O.U Senior Secondary School.
The event marked the handover of newly constructed classroom blocks, a staff room, a laboratory, and a library—an inspiring investment in advancing education for young people.
Beyond infrastructure, the Grant Thornton Foundation continues to make a meaningful impact by sponsoring students at the school, reinforcing their long-term commitment to expanding access to education and opportunity.
The ceremony also featured a tree-planting activity led by the Chief Guest Rt. Rev. Moses Banja, the 6th Bishop of the Namirembe Diocese in the Church of Uganda, the Guest of Honour , Mr. Moses Kaggwa, the Director of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development, and other distinguished guests, reflecting a strong commitment to sustainability and ESG principles.
We were delighted to engage with Smitha Venugopal and SHARON BABIRYE, and to witness firsthand the impact of purposeful partnerships.
At ACF, we believe that collaborative, community-centered initiatives like these are essential in shaping a more inclusive and sustainable future.
